I'm Brooke Burge, an associate creative director based in Kansas City. I got into the creative industry because I love thinking big. My favorite work is the stuff no one asked to be cool. (That's the whole point of our job, right?) Whether it's a banner ad that slaps (no one is ever too good for those), a mailer that slays or a whole 360 campaign that redefines how you perceive something, you have to throw your whole ass in it. Because it always shows when you don't. And who doesn't love to throw ass? (Just to clarify throwing ass is another way to say dancing.)
Rebranded the agency and then rebranded a bunch of destinations. From hotels to cities and full-on countries, I get to work on a variety of clients across the literal globe 🌎. So far, I've knocked out some pretty cool logos, TV spots 🎥, 360 campaigns, photo and video shoots and even a couple of websites. And yes, I do get to travel. Most recently I went to Greece and then Cleveland immediately after. Currently, I'm managing 👍 a team of five with my copywriting partner. I'm having a lot of fun leading and developing my skills to help develop others' skills. 🧠
Hired mid-level and thrown onto the McDonald's 🍟account, I found my sweet spot of big ideas and playful visuals creating campaigns for sports partnerships like the Chiefs 🏈 and Royals ⚾️. I got to make some cool out of home boards that the youngs very rarely get to make these days. I even ran the internship program 🤗 and got to work with some of the youngs that I speak of.
